Quick question. I am a current customer and have no contract. I am thinking about upgrading to HD. Will I have to change out the dish and re aim it? I have a 3lnb oval dish currently.

Thanks

In order to receive the new MPEG4 channels you'll need the new dish that receives the 99 and 103 sats. The slightly older 5LNB dish receives the sats at 99, 101, 103, 110, and 119. Your 3 LNB gets 101, 110, and 119. The newest dish also has 3 LNBs but it receives 99, 101, and 103.

Quick Simple Answer...

Yes.

With your current dish you will receive "some" of the HD channels.

You will need the new dish to recieve ALL of the HD channels avaialable.

Upgrading your dish will "future proof" yourself for the forseeable future.
