Wnder why they are moving stuff around on 61.5? Are they making space for something? Mabe some more HD?

Things that make you go Hmmm!

More HD will be very nice!!

When I called to cancel our Comcast installation for them not showing up, and when they asked me why I was cancelling I told them we were going with E* because of their 26 HD channels. They said that no one offers that many HD channels yet, lol. :D

One thing I wonder is I thought when we read the release from the FCC regarding the voom sale, it said the FCC gave the STA tps 23 & 24 to dish, but dish has yet to use them, so I wonder if that's not the case....

This would be plenty excuse to get the 4th satellite location for us and thus a DPP44 :D

I'm not sure that we are going to see spots active at 61.5. The reason being is that the way I understand Rainbow 1's configuration, it has to either be all CONus or all Spots. Does E3 have enough usable TWTA's to handle all the CONus load?

Well I dont know anymore, the article I linked in another thread states otherwise, but I could have sworn I read something from Lockheed that said it was either CONUS or Spot, not a mix. Cablevision's launch announcement counters that: http://www.cablevision.com/index.jhtml;jsessionid=UTB0AKOK3D3DQCQFSAKSF3Q?id=2003_07_17

Ding ding ding! Looks like they're cleaning up TP 10 on 61.5 for something! :D

3 new HD channels perhaps?? Lol..

They didn't clear up anything, just moved stuff around, probably for better bandwidth allocation, TP10 still has stuff on it. They don't have to do anything to add more HD channels they have room sitting for almost a dozen more right now

goaliebob99-good luck and BE SAFE!

Goaliebob99, Thanks for all you have done for this site. But I really want to thank you for your service to our country. Even though everyone has their own political views. I think everyone agrees that we just want you and all our military to come home safe! Sorry for getting off topic.
