my receiver is Pansat 2500A and my dish is Oblong 30x34 in. For tha last couple of months, I could not watch any of the vertical frequency channels on 97W Galaxy 19. I see the image like a broken glass with a loud annoying cracking noise. Any remedy for this mess. Thanks, Mike.

Is there only one receiver connected to the dish?

Have you checked to make sure the LNBF skew (rotation) is correct?

Check the connections and cables. Higher horizontal voltages may be getting through while lower vertical voltage may not adequately power the LNBF.

Check the voltage output with a voltage meter at the dish. Should be 13vdc on a vertical and 18vdc on a horizontal.

May be a failing LNBF. Try swapping

Let us know what you find!

Hi Mike. I had a the same problem and it was the cheap LNB's. Their zero marking was out by 40 degrees. By rotating them the problem solved. I also think some of these cheap LNBs don't switch V H anyway as they scan and find all the TP's in both V and H. I got one I'm taking apart to check this. Owen
