If satellite providers can deliver our local channels to us, why can't they deliver the area-specific weather channel feeds ??

...because, HD is more of a priority to them, it drives in more $$$. Gotta add more HD; in fact, I believe some HD channels got added today. Even if there is MORE than enough room for more SD feeds.
Be (A) the HD leader, or (B) be the satellite provider to get Tornado Warnings to viewers the fastest? I think "A" is the answer.
It''s amazing that they can't upload your local weather, but they can take the HSN shopping network and put it on your local channel feeds.
