What if there really is not a tablet market? Only an iPad market?

...and just like that, now the iPad 2 is available from the Apple Refurbished Store for $50 under the normal list price. Good luck finding anything under 64 GB, though.

Which really begs the question as to why be in the tablet business at all if you do not have content to sell? To really compete Google would have to start cutting in hardware makers some of the aftermarket profits. If an ASUS tablet owner bought an app ASUS would get a tiny cut from Google. This is really the only model I see working.
