Hi,

What is the difference between Universal LNBF and Standard LNBF?

Is the db value smaller the better? like 0.3db is better than 0.4db?

What is the most popular LNBF for receiving more channels?

Thanks,

Moved to right area (FTA area)

Please post FTA questions here : )

The lower the number, the better it should be. A .3 SHOULD be better than a .4 but I’ve worked with some crappy .4’s that work no better than my .6

There are 2 KU bands, low and high. A Universal gets both, where a standard only gets the high band. Low band is popular in Europe. Here in the US/Canada the only thing that a Universal gets is PAS9 58W and Cubavision (which you can get on 30W with a standard if you can see 30W)

Thanks,

I can't post on FTA area. It said I don't have permission.

Who can correct that.
