Home baked soldier beans...mmmmm good, made them yesterday, they always taste better the second day. A couple pieces of thick sliced home baked bread and lunch was a meal for a king:)
Gas is slowy starting to abate..:D

Red Enchilada's:
1lb lean ground beef
2 hatch green chiles diced
1 can hatch red sauce
2 corn tortillas
grated cheddar cheese
1 fried egg over easy on top
3 crackers crumbled up after cutting up the enchilada's

I'm on a diet. I had an extra lean hamburger with a whole wheat bun and some steamed veggies.

Home made french fries today, with salt and ketchup, I cut them extra thick, I like them that way, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Topped off with a glass of cold milk.


How do you do your homemade fries? Cut up potatoes and deep fry? Bake?
 
Sliced up 2 small potatoes (crossways after peeling) and about 1/4 of an Onion (sliced and quartered) and put in a lightly oiled electric skillet at 300... cooking now...
