Nope, just tried it on one of mine. Everything does work for recordings.

That's a deal breaker... I use this feature all the time. It's a shame they can't make it work for live TV.

I rarely watch anything live besides the news so it hasn't been an issue for me. The remote boxes do respond slower than the X1.

That's how the client is for DTV. Hopefully they will add it in the future.

They will not pause live TV, only recorded from the DVR. Mine will usually lock up if I use the skip ahead button. When I get to the last 7 to 10 minutes of a recorded program, it will not let me skip ahead or fast forward, so I am forced to watch a boring, useless commercial. Compared to my old Dish Network Hopper/Joey system, the Comcast X1 system is primitive.

Not an option unless it's another DVR box. You can only pause on recorded shows, on demand, but no live TV.

Well, for the next month or so I will be recording 4 shows simultaneously at 7:00 MDT on Sunday nights. See if the X1 lives up to the claims.
