2010-11 NBA pre-Season

They will boo.....scream...yell.....an occassional idiot will throw something....and the night will be over. The Cavs will play tough on pure emotion the 1st half, the HEAT will win by 20+ the 2nd half and it will be done.

Yep. Great advice for kids. Winning is all that matters kids. Character doesn't mean anything.

Don't worry, he's wrong. Championships may be the only mantra in Miami, but elsewhere around the country MANY will care. Lebron put a stain on himself that a championship will not erase. Respect for him will NEVER be the same.

We are not talking about advise for kids, we are talking whether Lebron will be hated or not...and in the grand scheme of things, no one will care.

When you get to the NBA, isn't it about winning championships?

You as giddy as a 4th grade schoolgirl when you were winning 60+ games....

Yeah.... like the same "stain" put on himself by Kobe when he was running Shaq out of LA and was dying, almost begging Jackson to either retire or coach somewhere else....??!! And now, he the standard from which everyone is being judged.... Yep, I am very wrong.:up

Totally different situations. Apples and oranges.

Really?!! This is where I pull out the YOU are wrong. The dislike for Kobe was quite high during that time because if I am not mistaken, all this was happening when the whole possible rape situation came up in Colorado. So, during that time, he was being accused of rape, cheating on his wife and trying to run out the best center..AND quite possibly the best player in the NBA at the time....AND the best coach in the last 20 years....out of the NBA.

So, he was hated, called the biggest prima dona in the NBA, non-team player and a guy that could not carry a team to an NBA championship because of his me attitude and an ugly human being(because of the possible rape issue) ....

....hmmmmm, sound familiar....??

Apples and oranges....? Puh-leaze!

Lebron just made a complete and total joke out of not only himself and Cleveland, he soiled ESPN and the entire NBA free agent process as well. It was the first time something like this has happened and cannot compare to ANYTHING in the past.

If thinking Kobe Bryant was exactly the same gets you through your Miami day you go right ahead...you are entitled to your opinion. But that doesn't mean everyone thinks that way.

We were talking about being hated in the NBA and the comparison of perception of Lebron and Kobe during their careers. I gave you a perfect example of the exact same thing, but you went the ole victim route when you were proved wrong....

We will leave it at that.;)

No idea what 'victim route' you are talking about, but if it makes you feel good to say it, knock yourself out. Not worth pursuing.

I was only proven wrong in your mind, so whatever.

You're words not mine. In the GRAND SCHEME of things, a lot more is taken in consideration, not just winning.
