Yep, I´ve got that, But when I go to New Posts, it only shows 10, and for that I didn´t see an option.
As you mention there is the Thread

Those are not controlled by the number of threads add on which you see in your preferences.

I had to go in there and hand code it to be 25. Is 25 better then 10 or should I turn it back to 10 again?

IMO 25 New Posts is better than 10,

Looks good! I like the ability to "watch" certain forums within the site so I get alerts in the top right when someone posts in them. I spend most of my time on this site outside of the Directv/Dish forums in areas that don't see as much traffic so it's pretty useful to me. I also changed my settings to automatically "watch" every thread I post in. It's easy to un-watch a thread latter if it's getting too much traffic or you are no longer interested in it.

Edit: The multi-quote tool is nice too. I also like how it takes me to the first unread post automatically whenever I click on a thread.

Yeah, the contrast on the Dark style is starting to hurt my eyes...Default isn't much better. Either I'll get used to it, or other styles to choose from will be introduced.

The dark style seems to be a work-in-progress !

Indeed it is. But I remembered that some folks didnt like the bright look so I made it before we upgraded. I could have launched the site without one.

If people give me more feedback how to make it better I am all ears. I want you guys to be happy and comfortable here.

There used to be an VB theme called black and blue,I think it was,that was my favorite theme of all.I use a lot of black and blue on my browser themes.Seems to stand out,and easier to read.Never did like red.

Definitely take the red out of the dark style. It is too glaring. (also, red and gray don't contrast well together.)

25 is fine.As often as I log in that covers most of the new posts in one page.

The red is going to stay for now... as there are over 60 places that use it in the style.

However I am researching some things for stuff that goes well together.

Is there a way to turn off the "click to expand" on long quoted text?

I actually kinda like that feature. Keeps longer posts from taking up so much real estate when quoted over and over, as happens in some threads.

I also like how it takes me to the first unread post automatically whenever I click on a thread.

I think that might be my favorite feature of the new board!

Was wondering about the PIT member tag. I don't care, as you see my name pop up there from time to time, but I think you 'outed' more than a few lurkers by showing that tag

Bear and everyone with vision problems like me, could you give a little more info on the contrast issue. Is the contrast on the post itself, the sigs, the info below the posts , the member info?

Hard for me to esplain.. The words don't "pop" off the light blue background. I don't ( or didn't think) I have a vision problem... Still 20/20 in full living color. But the words seem to ''sink'' or blend into the background. Its definitely black but not a very black. I guess I see the background before or more than the script. Aha, I think I got it! The background is too dark and the script not dark enough. . I'm a black and white guy. No shades of gray...or blue.. in my life..
