Interesting...

Wish I could get on the SG team for CES. Travel would be cheap and easy, but I can't get tickets as I am a retiree that is not in any professional capacity for the show(per their pr person).

It's military retirement. Unretiring won't help anything but force me back into hell. Except this time I have tasted freedom.

I'd love to see a 4, 5, or 6 tuner Hopper.
Keep going. ;)
I'd be surprised if they added more tuners. They are building hardware that works for the majority of customers, not for a small subset, and the # of tuners in the current Hopper was decided based on research they certainly did with customers. Adding more tuners that will go unused in most homes is a waste of $ for Dish, hence the addition of the Super Joey. Making the OTA adapter an add-on vs built-in like it used to be was done for the same reason. Maybe I'll be wrong though....

I could see the next Hopper supporting 4K, in fact, it almost has to. I wonder if they will shelve the Joey 4K (or whatever it is called .... that we haven't heard a peep about in months).

I thought you were running a dish installation business, and you turned it over to one of your deputies. I must have gotten you confused with somebody else. :(

I've heard that they are working on some highly requested apps ;) They are also probably working on how to add more HD channels ! Yes !
you never know it could be some apps or new hd channels we could be getting real soon.
