Last night's Omaha - Hartford game should create some UFL fans. That was probably the most exciting game I have seen this season; and there actually where real live people it the stands. A rarity for a UFL game.

The Charges have one big problem. It is spelled A.J.Smith! :mad:

I am sure the UFL hopes there are some fans out there. Going head to head, last year, with the NFL in SFO and NYC was not a good plan. Cities without a NFL team might work.

It will be interesting to see how many go to the UFL, in an attempt to work their way back to the NFL?

I'd say the new rule (illegal snap) is the dumbest thing in 66 years of watching the NFL! :(

I really didn't know what the result of the Eagles wholesale purging of the old guard would be; but now I've seen it in action. OMG! It is going to be a long season. The decade of the McNabb led successful Eagles are now history. I have never seen a more pathetic looking winning team! And...

It is not exactly the same game; but close. The CFL plays 18 games over 19 weeks. I think it will happen. Right now it is all about negotiations. Who gets what share of the money!

Starts thursday night. At least something too watch, instead of endless summer reruns, or that other game of "10 minutes of intense activity jam packed into 3 hours". Still about two more months until the NFL comes back. :-(

Been watching CFL games for years, in July and August. Canadian football is better than no football. But when real NFL games begin in September, it's all over until next summer.

The ability to play football is not an excuse for an arrogant stupid AH, like Big Ben! The Steelers should cut him. Al Davis would sign him.

The dirtiest team in the league, for decades! Get away with more crap, like the infamous S.D. game, where they were guilty of intentionally fumbling, throwing a loose ball and kicking a loose ball and being awarded a TD. At lest they got out out L.A. and went back to where they belong...

I thought the Eagles where coming on; but the offensive line keeps falling apart. If they don't get healthy, it's wait till next year. Lots of talent behind them; but no time to get it done. I look for high draft choices of Offensive Lineman.

Only IF they get a team! But I can't imagine all the teams with attendance or stadium problems, passing on the L.A. market.

My local paper does not even report scores. Does anyone else's? I know they are drawing rotten crowds; but the TV games are decent football. I didn't think they would do well in NYC and SFO; but even in Vegas and Orlando the attendance stinks.:confused: They need some promotion of some kind...
