2009 NBA Playoffs

But at the end of every playoff hockey game they all shake hands.

He is a showoff and a poor loser.

If or when Detroit beats the Pens, Crosby and Malkin will still shake their hands.[/QUOTE]

You think it didn't KILL Sidney to shake hands with Alexander...and vice-versa? It did and they did and Ovey showed class in doing that no matter how much I dislike him as a person.

Sorry, HD...your "King" is a poor loser.

I agree, they still think of the team, sport and fans instead of themselves.

TROLLS? Most of those "trolls" have several thousand more posts here than you do, and have been here all season. We know who the real "trolls" are. I know them by all the "insightful" commentary they have provided since Cleveland lost.

Ah there we have it, 7 posts per day trumps 2.2 posts per day.

The thread just gets darker and darker.

You can thank HD MM for all the troll talk for taking it there to begin with.

Get real.

In [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_slang"]Internet slang - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame], a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_forum"]Internet forum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:phpbb_3.0_prosilver.png" class="image"><img alt="" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/01/Phpbb_3.0_prosilver.png/300px-Phpbb_3.0_prosilver.png"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/0/01/Phpbb_3.0_prosilver.png/300px-Phpbb_3.0_prosilver.png[/ame] or [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chat_room"]Chat room - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:Question_book-new.svg" class="image"><img alt="Question book-new.svg" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/99/Question_book-new.svg/50px-Question_book-new.svg.png"@@AMEPARAM@@en/thumb/9/99/Question_book-new.svg/50px-Question_book-new.svg.png[/ame], with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

add to this that a troll usually only shows up when it's most convenient to post these controversial and inflammatory messages.

i haven't seen ANY cav fans do this here.they've been here at good or bad moments. when we mention those who don't post much is because most of these members only show up for this type of situation unlike yourself meStevo that participates no matter what's going on. my opinion..........

I think the better solution is to instead avoid all namecalling/belittling (post count or otherwise) as it pertains to forum members.

Lebron a sore loser? Yeah, and that can be somewhat excused with his experience and his position, which, let's be honest, is one of the brightest spotlights that anyone can possibly be standing in.

Classless and 'a loser' are just more defamatory ways to put it but are as about as accurate as they are inaccurate. I think as a role model and MVP of the league he certainly didn't do well in the situation but unless he establishes a pattern of behavior (he's no Ocho Cinco) hopefully he'll learn from the experience.

So true. And you know what else? When the Phillies beat the the Rays last year, NOT ONE of the Rays' players waited on the field to congratulate even one Phillie player. NOT ONE!

What a bunch of classless jerks. I don't think I was here that day, but I'm sure you guys were all over that one too. Glad somebody here is keeping it real. ;)

When the Dodgers and the Cards met in the playoffs a few years back, Jim Tracy and Tony Larussa decided to have a handshake between the teams at the end oof the series. They did it alright...and got a major ass-chewing from other teams and MLB. Seems that it is not to be on an MLB playing field.

Well, you know what a sore loser what's-his-name (the Drew Carey look alike) from Tampa Bay is rumored to be. He needs to grow up like you guys said.

Not Joe Maddon! He was molded under the tutelage of Mike Scioscia and "the Angel Way". He is a fine man and an excellent skipper.

Well he didnt' shake hands with the Phillie skipper. That makes him a sore loser and the 'Angel Way' poor sportsmanship. ;)

IMO, I think LeBron could have set himself up worse had he spoken- not saying anything is a lot better than setting yourself for a Terrell Owens kind of moment.

Can we just give Lebron a break??? This is really upsetting now you guys. Give it a rest. Thank you.
