Upward and onward...

Nobody commented that the Chicago Bulls just took over first place in the East!!!

Sandra

The Celtics are not playing very well right now and the hot team is taking advantage when they need to. Cupcake season will be over soon and the better teams will stand apart from the pretenders. The playoffs are gonna be fun.

AWFUL game by the HEAT and good defense by the Thunder. They killed the HEAT in 2nd chance points due to the huge edge on the offensive boards and that was the difference of the game.

Neither team had their best offense going, but the Thunder defense was crushing!

One scout said that Mike Bibby is the worst defensive point guard there is. They keep accumulating jump shooters because that's what's available, but they need a good defensive point guard, and a big who plays like a big.

The Celtics-Bulls battle for the #1 seed is important for more than just HCA in a potential ECF.

- The #1 seed would draw a much more favorable first round matchup (Indiana/Milwaukee/Charlotte vs. New York/Philly)

- The #1 seed would draw Orlando/Atlanta in the second round and let the #2 seed duke in out with Miami

Both teams are 50-19. The Celtics own the head to head tiebreaker, 2-1. The Celtics and Bulls meet one more time.....April 7 in Chicago.

Totally agree Bill...this battle is huge. Whoever comes out on top in the regular season has a definite advantage in the playoffs.

It will be interesting if the Bulls get HCA AND these two teams meet in the ECF.

IMO, the Bulls have a better home court advantage BUT the Celtics are a better bet to win a playoff game(s) on the road.

That is why good, playoff-battle test teams do not need homecourt because they KNOW how to prepare in every way, shape and form when it comes to playoffs.
