2014 AL Central

Just looking at the current batting averages of our 1 through 6 hitters in the lineup:

R. Davis .338
I. Kinsler .309
M. Cabrerra .286
V. Martinez .330
T. Hunter .304
A. Jackson .299

Not bad considering Miggy is the slacker, but moving-up quickly, and Jackson is only 1-point from .300

The nicest thing right now on this streak the tigers are on is watching the starting pitching

Tigers hold a 1-run lead going into the 8th-inning. Nice to see Max come out for the 8th inning.

Thats because Max has only 100 pitches so far and the game is tight.
Can't count on the pen in this one.

This has been a very well pitched game on both sides.

IF Max gets a double play here quick, he may come out for the ninth.

Edit:
Max is now at 110 and looks like Max is out of gas ...

What a Double Play !

I still doubt that Max comes out for the ninth at this point.

Heres the difference between Max and J.V. (110 pitches thru 8, J.V. comes out for the 9th).
