We are still learning about the powers of the androids and what they can or can't do. I loved this episode and it was great how they showed Dorian being more understanding about the psychic and her need for something her parent had touched. I can forgive just about anything far fetched on this show, due to the chemistry of the characters. I really enjoy the entire show from beginning to end and the comedy parts are great. This has been the best new show of the season. It makes " Marvel Agents of Shield" look like crap in comparison.

It's pretty sad that the most believable part of this episode involved someone claiming to be a medium psychic. lol

I found it hard to believe the psychic gal needed an object the person has touched in order to communicate with their spirit. It would have been funny if she were having a relationship with a neighbor and heard her dead mom's gagging voice when she reached down to touch his junk...and disturbing if the voice turned out to be that of her dead father.

It would have been interesting in the robot had something to do with someone of her past and being around him would have had an affect on her.

I was in a relationship with a psychic medium for four years, and the bit about conversations with deceased parents in the bedroom isn't too far off the mark.

Regarding the psychic needing an object to communicate, I saw that as a convenient plot device, borrowing from the standard psychic trope you see in a lot of other movies and TV shows. As I understand it, her memories and feelings about her parents would have more psychic energy attached to them than an old doorknob that had been locked up in a police evidence room for many years and "contaminated" by the energies of anyone or anything else that had touched it.

I saw this weeks episode this morning and it was good. Funny too. I laugh at the interplay between Dorian and John. I look forward to this show now each week. This is the first show I could say that about since Fringe ended.:)

I enjoy this show a lot. Guess I like recent US shows with "human" in the title--Human Target and Almost Human... :D (But not Being Human).

I think it is ironic that Kennex is less human in some ways than Dorian the android. Kind of makes you think the title of the show "Almost Human" could apply to either one of them. I have always liked the idea of androids that want to be human like StarTrek the Next Generation or robots with human aspects and emotions like the robot on Lost in Space in the 60s. They often seem more human than the humans that are around them.

I think that it is a deliberate point of the authors. They want the audience to see that the line between human and robot can be very hard to define. A human can act more like a robot and a robot could act human...
