There has been few people that have gotten $20 off for 6 months on NFL ST!

I've called twice in about 2 weeks, and they still don't have any deal. This maybe because I signed up in January. I'm kicking myself now because if I would have waited then I'd get it for free. They did tell me that they are offering it for 53 or 55 dollars a month.

I called this afternoon and got a $10 credit for 12 months. I'll take that. Like the other folks on this board said, be nice and courteous. I ended up having a nice convo with the CSR. I first asked about ST for free and he explained that it was an offer for new customers and I segued that into "are there any discounts I can get on that?" He had the 120 discount right away.

Just got off the phone with D*. Got Sunday Ticket for FREE!!! Words can't describe how pumped I am! The CSR(retention) was exceptionally nice. I called to confirm that my Sunday Ticket was cancelled from last year because I couldn't afford it. She said let me take a look and make sure. Then she came back and said she could give it to me for Free!

Called tonight and got $10 for 6 months and $5 off for 24 months. I was very pleased, I called and asked if I could receive any discounts on my current NFL ST and he said sure. Very nice as always.

They did tell me that they are offering it for 53 or 55 dollars a month.

I believe that is what the "Early Bird" Special is, I was told that calling closer to the start of the season could be better, retention told me to try around the middle of the month.

Called again today and got ST & To Go for 4 payments of $39.99. Not a bad deal since I just subscribed to directv in Jan of this year, but befor the ST free promo. I`m happy with the discount I received. Glad I saw this thread. By the way, what channels will the games be on and should I be able to get any of the channels yet?

It should say "You are Authorized for this Program"

The games themselves will be in the 700's, usually a few Sundat Snap and Red Zone and that type in the first part...
Games usually start around 704 and go up to 730 depending on how they do it this year, they need channels for HD as well as SD still.

Yes I think it`s a great deal especially since I got the costco deal and all the other normal discounts when I subscribed to directv in Jan. of this year.. Seems like a great company to do business with so far. I never got deals like this in 11 years with Dish.

I can't help by wonder if the NFL subs are down this year. This could all be avoided with a lower price for everyone . And does anyone know what a business like a bar pays for the Sunday Ticket?

I believe Bars are charged by the number of people they can put in the Bar.

I thought every bar paid a flat fee. How can they keep track of how many people come into the bar during Sunday Ticket?

Called yesterday and was initially offered $5 per month discount for 6 months and free Showtime for 12 months. I told the CSR that I don't really watch movies so I'd pass on that deal. Then said I wanted to cancel ST. I really was going to cancel at that price. She transferred me to a 'ST Specialist' who offered $10 per month discount for 6 mos. I said it was still too expensive to go ahead and cancel it. She then said $20 credit for 6 mos, which is what I got last year so I accepted. Before closing out I asked about the ST To Go option and the CSR said she'd throw that in for free. So, I ended up with $120 in credits and free ST To Go. Not as good as some, better than others, but I'm satisfied.

Just called to cancel DTV Sunday Ticket. Received $120 season discount and a $30 HD access credit. I guess I'll keep it after all for at least this year.
