Contacting DIRT

Sounds like your bonus 12 month discount expired, contact Dish and get it renewed.

Has nothing to do with you being locked into a 2 year fixed price, the price is still the same, discount expired.

I locked into a two year price freeze of $ XX.XX. Just recently. Like 6 moths ago.

I trust my contract means something to DISH.

If not, I'm done with DISH. If DISH won't stand by their contract, then I am out.
If they fail to uphold their 2 year price lock, then ... the contract is void with me. Then I can get out of contract.

As I posted earlier, there appears to be a billing issue.

Perhaps it is just a billing error that only affects 10 million folks who may not notice.

I noticed.

I'm disappointed.

But life moves on. .... It's only satellite.

It sounds like Dish has found a billing error and it is obviously not just you. They are giving you a $5 credit for this month and they said that the future billing will reflect your savings. Nothing to get so worked up about that you are considering leaving. Stuff happens and it gets fixed...
 
Heh, if you go to Dish's FB page, it automatically pops up an instant-message window (and says "Dish is active now").

When you talk via instant message on Facebook, are those the same DIRT members that used to be here? I haven't seen them around here for a while now, and the DIRT members on this site were by far the best customer service I have had from Dish. Definitely would rather work with the DIRT members on here than the standard chat options.

Yes, it's the same group of people. Some of the DIRT folks, while being a 'member' here, are almost inactive, at least publicly. Maybe they PM members directly vs have discussions in threads (??). Over at FB, you'll probably recognize many of the names. Quickly looking, I see "Mike H" and "Matt G" responding at their FB page.

Yes, they are. After not seeing them here at all yesterday, I just Messengered on FB to arrange for my HWS to H3 upgrade. Same people, same GREAT service, just a different place. I referenced DIRT and got a funny reply from Marek about "discovering" them.
 
It appears that none of the DIRT members have been around (at least 'signed in') recently. The most recent looks to be about 1-1/2 weeks ago.
And ones that used to be listed in red are now listed in blue. Their signatures still list their schedule from when they were DIRT members here, though.
 
DIRT isn't exclusive to this site/forum. It's Dish's "internet/social media support team". The same folks work here, Facebook, Twitter, Dish's own forum, and so on.
But since they haven't been seen here lately, the question is: do they still work here? If not, then perhaps this thread should be de-stickied, and replaced with a link to Dish's Facebook page.
