They didn't sell out at all, they just never made them, knowing no one wanted them

They will do mlb remotes when mlb is a dtv exclusive ( that the only reason for the nfl remotes is because the nfl sunday ticket exclusivity.)

No dtv has no plans on over paying to make mlb ei an exclusive I think were happy with just beating dish.

Don't know, but I doubt it.
Go into D*'s website and into your account, look under Equipment and Remotes and see if it's listed, at that point you can order one.

22 bucks for a remote with a team logo is pretty expensive. Seems like it'd be pretty easy just to draw them on yourself; or buy some stickers for 2 bucks.

NFL team logo, and they have a backlite display that you can turn on or off.

on the back of the remote it tells you the championships the team has won.

My lions remote ( haha) says 1957,1953,1952,1935.
I would guess it would list super bowls as well.

Why does there need to be an exclusivity criteria attached? There is nothing preventing MLB and DirecTV from coming to terms on putting logos on their remotes.
