What about polarization??? I understand azimuth and elevation, but can someone elaborate on the concept of polarity?

DBS is circular. No matter how you have the LNB it will work

You don't have to worry about polarity on a 1.5m. LNBF fits on the end of the feed arm. You can get DP duals fairly cheap on ebay along with DP multi switches.
