Maybe the problem's with "E" because FNC runs full HD from 5pm until wee hours of the morning every day on my cable channel or could it be that you have a very limited scope of what FNC really runs and speculated from there? Cm'on Stu, could there be a little liberal bias there?

Seriously big guy, I know at least starting with Beck at 5-6 pm, then Bret Baier 6-7, then News with Shepard Smith 7-8pm, then O'Reily Factor 8-9, then Hanson from -10 and I think Greta from 10 to 11pm is also HD. Then they do repeats of a lot of those starting at 11pm. I thing Fox & Friends in the morning is HD too.
I did not say "in HD", I said "not really using the HD".
Bret Bair and Shepard Smith were both the CNBC style "SD feed in a corner with text around it".
Beck, O'Reilly and Hannity (not Hanson) were in true HD....
but.... all three shows were shot and framed for SD. I switched back and forth and the only thing missing in the SD was curtains and other backgrounds. Their studios have 1 or 2 HD cameras for host plus one guest, so you see the talking heads in HD. Being male, that means nothing to me for all three shows. Greta was also in HD, and so was her guest Newt, and again,
zero advantage over the SD feed.
Due to that, I often record CNBC shows in SD to save disk space in my 622.
Shows like
Lost or sports gain big time from HD. News channels do not, especially since none of them have HD cameras out in the field (other than the one that seems planted in the ground in front of Congress.
PS No liberal bias here, in fact, I am one of the least politically biased people I know. I disagree with most everyone on both MSNBC and Fox News.

I often disagree with Lou Dobbs and Larry Kudlow, even though they have opposite viewpoints. I find that both Shepard Smith and Wolf Blitzer try to be as balanced as possible, and most of the others do not bother.
