What do the 'T' and '17' fields mean?

Tick on/off? Other than transponder number, frequency, polarity, symbol, FEC not sure what else is left. How about a software glitch?

In this example of a data transponder at 3880 V 34285 with multiple signals, the number in the field seems to identify each of the different signals.

I'm thinking that those are probably T2MI transponders, but I don't know why it also says "T" on ones that aren't. Bug?

Take a look for comparison. Change the extension to .xml to open in notepad++.
This is how I do it. Matter of fact if you have a new image flashed you could replace the stock file with this one.
Not so sure I'd plant it in a working image. Although after an online sw update the file is replaced with a new one that includes every single satellite in the world. Clutters my stuff a bit. I get 127W-43W. Ku band is lacking. C band is what I use.
Freq., SR drift is from blindscans.
Image boots okay, using filezilla to replace it with this one and a reboot. No issues. EB screamed at me for doing it.
Enosat said no prob.

It is and I know that. The T2MI streams with the asked about T & 17 fields could be compared with my xml.
That's all. I mean, Who even does what I do with the file? There are advantages.
I see a few of y'all have E2 receivers. And it sparked me to hit 99W ku. Picked up a few new tp's with my not-GT Media Osmio4k using the mod driver. So I added them to the existing xml. With them came some new channels and radio stations.
But I was unable to get signal on 11720H except in short bursts.
I butted in because maybe comparing the xml format to what you receive might answer the unknowns. Or help. Maybe.

Hmmm. That explains the signal bursts. Just like the NOAAPort tp on 121W tp 4020V
