H-21 network plug

This would be the ethernet plug for the internet.
Is there any good reason to have this working ?
Will I get anything more than what I have at the
moment programming wise ?

Do you have a HD-DVR also? You could have VoD and MRV options; depending on the rest of your setup.

I believe with it connected to the internet, you won't need the phone for PPV orders.

I have my H21 Ethernet port plugged into a white DECA module. This connects the box with the HR24 upstairs so I can watch recordings off of it. Also you get TVApps. I guess PPV too but I never do that. Sadly no on demand. I can also change the channels on this box with the DirecTV for iPad app or waltzremote.com (on iphone)
