I tried a Seagate Freeagent 2TB EHD on my 622 today...it only formated 1TB of disk space.

Which 1.5TB are known to work if it will only formate the 2TB to 1TB?

You probably have a EHD with 2 drives instead of one. If the EHD is wider than around 2 inches, this is probably the case. They don't work properly.

Not really. Newegg has it for $18.00 less with free shipping, no tax. ALSO, Dish receivers don't play well with Seagate drives. Sleep mode must be disabled via your PC and Seagate utilities or else you have to reboot drive because the reciever can't wake it up. Most folks here are using WD EHDs with very few complaints.

Well I finally broke down and bought this tonight. What do you think? Is it a good deal? This one will be used as a back up for my PC.
