Just wondering why we have uplink reports for Dish and not Direct? Just wondering.

Thanks!

DISH uses standard DVB protocols making it easy to do uplink reports, while DIRECTV uses its own private propitiatory system to transmit and continues making changes to it system which make doing an uplink report near impossible to be accurate.

and yet, dbstalk.com, has someone who can figure out what directv is testing and post it online.

Yeah who works for DIRECTV. Nor is it automated. Sixto does a good job on it though!

If you want to read it please check it out over there. Here is the directv URL for those who want to check it out. http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=172899

(Update: I received a note that Sixto does not currently work for DIRECTV. If someone is in the know of the DIRECTV datamap and would like to help us build an automated DIRECTV uplink report system please let me know! We would love to add this as a feature to the site!)
