Menu-movies, updating but not doing anything

I have the new HD GUI, and everything works great. My only issue is when you click "menu", then try to look at movie suggestions, the guide says "updating, please check back in one hour". It's been doing this for two weeks. I called DTV and their suggestion was to reset the receiver to default however the receiver will not do this either. The CSR I spoke to said just to wait until the next software update and that should resolve the problem. Anyone else with this issue and any suggestions?

Try the red button reset on the box or unplugging the receiver for a few minutes. That will force the reset.
