NBA Finals

Salsa, did you see my thoughts on the Shaq to Cleveland trade? I posted something on page 9, but it seemed to got buried. See it here.....

I agree with your thoughts 100%. Shaq coming to Cleveland will definately motivate him. IF he could average 17 and 10...or somewhere in that range, it would be a HUGE improvement on what they currently have. AND, they would be giving up very little for him.

A lot of miles on the "big guy". Motivation might not be the problem. My mind tells my body to do things it can't do all the time. Shaq has been pounding his body for a long time now, at some point the body just doesn't respond anymore.

We agree?! Damn! Vacation was a good thing, for the both of us!!! :)

I wouldn't want Shaq unless the stakes were right. And the fact that we'd be giving up next to nothing for the 1 year left on his contract is intriguing.

Shaq did not lead the Heat to victory....Wade did. Could the Heat have won without Shaq....maybe not....could the Heat have won without Wade...no way no how.
Here's your original quote on the topic which didn't say anything about "leading" their TEAM to victory:

Speaking of Shaq...WHAT was that comment about Kobe "never won anything WITHOUT me"? Seems like it's the other was around...

Kobe's won without Shaq and vice-versa. Looks like they're even!! :up

Started in Barcelona, then Valletta in Malta, Naples, Rome, Florence/Pisa, Cannes and back to Barcelona! It was amazing..!! The kids and my wife loved it as well as the pocket...seeing that I work for a cruise line company.:D

Aside from all the amazing things we saw in Europe, the one thrill ride we did go on was a taxi ride we took from the Leaning Tower back to the train station in Pisa.

I love roller coasters, but they simply cannot compare to the heart-stopping, life-threatening adventures in a tiny car, zipping through the narrow, winding streets of a very old European city, where nobody, either drivers or pedestrians, hold any regard for traffic signs or signals whatsoever.

Those signals are obviously mere suggestions to all involved!

Sounds like any of the cab rides I've had in Manhattan.

No. While Manhattan cabbies are reckless, they simply do not compare with their Italian counterparts. It's a whole different world over there, the Manhattan guys would quit after their first day on the job in Pisa. It's not even close.

I LOVED Cannes....spotted a few celebrities and had a cognac and a cigar with Dennis Farina and Danny Devito....LOL!

From One 23 to Another..... STAY IN CLEVELAND!

I'm surprised Michael spoke on this topic, although I find it refreshing he took this stance. LeBron, you've idolized Mike growing up. You chose the #23 as a tribute to him. Take the man's advice. Please........

“He’s made his mark in Cleveland. I know New York fans would love to have him, but you need a lot more components than just one player. He’s done a heck of a job in Cleveland and they deserve to have him there. He’s from that area. In terms of the game itself, small markets can benefit from it a lot more than the big markets can. That’s not a discredit to New York at all.”
