Can anyone tell me if this is a C/KU lnb and if it is worth using for minibud. It was salvaged from 10' paraclipse.

Do you think it would work for mini bud

Maybe I'll wait for that new one PSB is testing.

I used a 25K C-Band LNB on a 6 footer and it was questionabale....so on a minibud...probably not much

Thanks for the info, I guess I'm stuck with KU for now.

dont let us discourage you from trying

A couple of us have proven you can get the really strong transponders with a 18" dish and a finely tuned LNB (skew is very critical with that)

Here is something I did a year ago with an 18" dish and KU band. Its G3 (which is real close to my true south)

I used a 30 degree California Amplifier C band LNB on my 90cm mini-bud . Seamed to do as good as could be expected ?
