Ever since I upgraded to the new Samsung box my HDMI port has been blocked. I get a "HDCP authorization failure" error. The tech that installed the new box refused to troubleshoot the problem, and just insisted that I use the component cables instead. I am thinking about going back to the old SA box even though I like the responsiveness of the Samsung box better. Can anything be done to unblock the HDMI port? Or is this just one of the many "kinks" that never seem to get fixed?

Oh man, I hope your not in Brevard County. Anyways, what you need to do is call up the office and have them bring out another box. That one is bad. Or, if you dont wanna wait, take the box down to your local office and exchange it out. Make sure you tell them that it has an "HDCP authorization failure" and to put the the failure sticker on it.
