So is fox in HD or just 480p *enhanced*

...my only question is if the game that I'm watching is being sent as 480 to my local Fox station and being upconverted to 720p.

I have read that is being sent at 720p to all affiliates. Looked good here in Atlanta. The Raiders/Steelers game on CBS looked good in 1080i too.

gunn55 out of all the 4 local channels i get, FOX, CBS, ABC, PBS. CBS plays the majority of hd so far, atleast in my area.

I guess there is only so many cameras to go around, They can't carry them all yet.
But N.Y. being a huge market you would think it would get first dibs.
But anyway I do agree with you they do have the majority in my area also but the other networks are getting very close.
I have CBS,ABC,NBC,FOX,WB & UPN out of the E.S.B. in N.Y.
Don't get me wrong I'm still a very happy camper.
I should say most are out of the E.S.B.

If this is 720p, then I'll stick to 1080i any day of the week. That looks horrid to what I've seen on ABC. Anyone in the Detroit area know if Fox 2 was showing the true 720p signal from the game?
