You know your new Star Trek series is off to a good start when . . . the biggest complaint is the size of the captain's quarters :facepalm
...Until they re-do TOS in a few years, and then the biggest complaint is the size of something else of the captain's ... lol

Not the biggest complaint, just one that is hard to dismiss.
Exactly. This is supposed to be NCC-1701 after all. I guess the producers think the old guard who loved TOS have all died off, leaving young-uns to view the Enterprise with new eyes.

I liked episode 2 almost as much as episode 1.

Like the volume of his hair? His look in this episode screams 1 hour in the stylist's chair every day applying gravity-defying product. :p

I have to say, this is one of the best looking shows in 4K/DV, those scenes in the Transporter Room was incredibly sharp and the Dolby Vision/HDR really brought out the Blue in the room.

The video wall should certainly get some sort of technical achievement Emmy award if it hasn't already.

I really appreciate their willingness to avoid CGI.

Pike and Number 1 seem like a married couple, doing the dishes. :)
No real complaints from me. Loving this series!

Finally got around to watching the first episode this past weekend. Enjoyed it alot.

Though during the Montana scenes, kept thinking of Pike as Cullen Bohannon. :D

I am definitely enjoying this series. Haven't even started the latest season of Discovery or Picard.
