I am "moved" and using a NY address.
If I watch Sunday ticket via streaming app, are they basing my location off the GPS or my service address.
I am in FL, and the Jets are blacked out. So I am either missing something, or it is based on service address.
Using Apple TV App. (Took my dish down for the hurricane).

Gotcha, so its the address, not the IP or GPS.
Although correct me if I am wrong, even if I had a FL address it would be blacked out because it is being nationally broadcast and available on broacdast TV in FL.

Although side note, it is NOT available in FL, because CBS is just doing hurricane coverage in FL all day.

I live in NY, and get the Ticket mainly to watch Eagles games. Had a wedding this Sunday, and looked forward to be able to catch a little bit of the game on my phone, but of course, the Eagles were on NY channel 5, and I couldn't get the game on my phone. I hate the blackout rules, and don't really understand what they prove.

You could have watched it on the Fox Sports Go App...

Did not know about the Fox sports app, but I will remember it for the future. Thanks for the tip.

Note: If you are a Verizon wireless customer you can stream the game on the NFL Mobile App on your phone. That is the only way to stream in-market or national NFL games on your phone. The Fox Sports Go App (or ESPN app etc) for local/national NFL is only available on tablets and computers. The Sunday Ticket app is for out of market games on all devices. The Fox, ESPN, etc apps work on your phone for all other sports. That is an important detail to remember, too.
