I agree with most of what you said anyways.
Granderson needs to hit for avg. not power, I like you would rather see him hit .300-.320 and hitting doubles and triples than try to hit HR's.
50 points higher is reasonable, he's at .255 and still made the All Star game.
It's amazing that he made it, but with Sizemore gone for a while, that may have played into it.
Palonco also should be about 50 points higher, he's at .265.
Porcello reminds me of Verlander at the same age.
I can't handle Rodney anymore, he's worse than T.J.'s
He's out there and looks like he doesn't care when he's out there.
It's amazing with his opportunity streak, but if he has 2 losses, how can the streak be intack ?
Maybe Lyon can take over, or bring Perry back up, he's had enough time to refine his issues.

Brandon Inge IS an ALL STARshould have been there with out the last player voting.
Cabrera should have made it as well, except they have about 4-5 top notch 1B's in the AL ...
You mentioned that Jackson was the steal of the year, and I agree, but I would but Laird a close second.

While I love Roy and I think he would look great in the Old English D, we need offense. RIght now our best hitter is not getting pitched to because nobody has to pitch to him..Nobody in this line up scares anyone..Sure Thames can hot the occasional bomb, but in the cluth, he sucks, so does Inge..There is nobody else to protect Miggy, and it is really showing up right now with this team.
Today Verlander gets beat by his teams lack of clutch hitting, and of Course Arod hitting a pop up to right that finds the first row..I can't take it anymore

Yes, the lack of Clutch hitting has determined a lot of games of late.
Luke French could have won the opener had they had a little more hitting.
It seems like they hit everything and score 7-8 runs or they can't hit anything.
I agree! I finally get to watch the Tigers and their bats are sleep...yet again! Nice to see them blow another fine pitching performance by Jackson and drop their 3rd straight after the All-Star break. :rant:
Anyway, they need to right the ship soon...and get some bats into the lineup.

Things are so bad in Indians-ville that I was at a graduation party with close to 50 in attendance on Saturday and I had 2 tickets to the game on Sunday in which I was trying to give away. I sold them the best I could, touting the beautiful weather we were expecting, the fact that they were 15 seats up from home plate, the fact that it was a 1pm game instead of a late game and that the tickets even came with a free parking pass! All that considered, I could find NO takers for my tickets. NONE!
Most people laughed when I offered to give them FREE tickets. Others said they would rather watch Golf or mow their lawn. How things have changed! Just 2 years ago, there would've been a bidding war for those tickets. Sadly enough, the reality is that no-one, myself included wanted to waste another 3-4 hours of our day to watch a pathetic team.

Cant blame Leyland(yes I said it) for the lack of offense..Seay had also been lights out over his past what 20+ games? Bottom line this offense lost 4 of the last 5 games not the pitching or the Manager.
