Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

Notifications for me are pretty spot on, don't think there has been a time when I didn't get it when the email said I could expect it

Service went downhill for me. Haven't got a disc in 2 weeks although I have a few that say they are available NOW. Emailed bb and they say you need to have 10 NOW discs in your queue. I told her I have 44 movies in my queue and 2 are NOW. I would have to have 300 movies in my queue to have 10 NOW titles.

I spoke too soon. No disc arrived, even today, after being shipped last week. I reported the problem online today and supposedly they have shipped a replacement.

Wow.... What difference should having 10 discs or just 1 as being available NOW have anything to do with shipping a disk. Pretty sad.

Yesterday, I had 8 available out of 48 disc in my queue. This morning, I now have 4 available. 6 have become medium demand. I also have 23 in my Unavailable queue. Twixt was in my queue yesterday as high demand, today it is in my unavailable queue, yet when I check my local store it has 2 copies of Twixt available. Oh Well!

I doesn't matter what your list shows as "available" because that's based on a national availability list. The reason we don't get the "available" product is because it's not available in our specific warehouse. That's what they told me anyway.

But they told me that when a disc is available at another location that they will mail it to you from the closest available location even if its not your normal mailing location.

Not really a fit for this area, but at my BB today one thing I find is the lack of movies, maybe there are just not a lot of movies out there. But a good half of the "new releases" are on one of the premiums right now or recently. Have to force myself to pick something

Same for me until very recently. I haven't gotten a disc in almost 2 weeks now. I got the "we have received xxxxx" email followed by "we are working hard to bring you your next selection". Several discs in my Queue are "available" too. A few are showing up on HBO before BB ships them (most recently the latest Bourne movie). I haven't been watching the channels that much so if disc service stays like this I'll probably cancel.
Well my BB@H train has stopped. I sent back my last movie on the 18th of July, and still haven't received any movies yet. Upsets me because things were going so well. Back to reality!
?Ghpr13:(

Well this is interesting, so I dropped off my movie at our local BB, got the email that when processed next one will be sent its been a few days and no movie sent.

I am mentioning this because this has been the first time this has happened, usually the drop off at the local BB is seamless and the next DVD get shipped out?

it's too bad the service is like this. could've been something real special for dish, although i understand BB wasn't doing well before dish got them.

I agree while the Disk feature is a bonus to some. I don't think the effort is there on there part for the DVD service. If you look at Dish's website the blockbuster portion is really promoting the video from anywhere as well as the channels nothing mentioned about the DVD portion of obvious reasons with store closes and such

For those wondering, Greencine is no better 13 days into my billing cycle and 76% low end amount of time i've been without anything.

I have had 90% of my movies and games say high demand, I seem to be able to get movies sooner through the streaming on Stars or I just end up going to Redbox.

it's not going to get any better with dish closing more of these stores.

If they close my only store within 100 miles of me, I am dropping BB@Home. I can get Redbox movies two blocks from my house. All the movies on the 22 channels that they offer, I have seen thru the BB store.
