The Tigers Defense is rated 12th in the Majors and Twins are #3. As for pitching Detroit has a lower era because until July the Twins bullpen sucked. Look at the last 30 days and Detroit has nothing to talk about. Minnesota corrected their early issues with a patch work starting pitching.


When it comes to Hitting Minnesota is much better. The Twins lost Morneau for the season and still continue to produce runs. This will come down to Mon-Wed. Detroit cant hit so it will cost them in the Playoffs.

Come tell me all that IF you guys pass us. Your pitching is not that great. As for defense, well last night was a costly error, but also only the second in the last 20 games. The lack of timely hitting will be our undoing, if we fall.

Don't forget they have 3 games with thew Wh. Sox after the Twins series that will be even bigger if the Tigers/Twins split.

Remember, before everyone jumps off/on a bandwagon, next week when the Tigers/Twins play, the Tigers only have to split. Not win them all.

As of right now Tigers are up by 2 with one more game before this big series. (potentially 1,2 or 3, big game today ) If both teams win today they go into it up 2. So if the Tigers win ONE game in that series, they leave tied.

It's a shame that the game got postponed tonight.

There's a very good chance that the two teams SPLIT tomorrow, based on the fact that it's a double header.
This is bad news for both teams, there was a better chance for one of them to win the first two games than there is now.
