Coolsat 4000 Plus

Hi I bought a coolsat 4000 plus from C/L cheap I see it has no blind scan.
Is there any filmware to make it blind scan.

Coolsat 4000 has blind scan. Has had it since Day 1 (I owned a 4000 when they first came out)

Yup I blind scan with mine when I was using it. Not a bad STB for starting out with and getting to play with it while learning. Nice and cheap was the key for me when I got mine.

yeah that was the first "fast" blind scan I had worked with (fast compared to a Pansat)

I don't see any blind scan all I see is manual scan, auto scan, and pid scan.
Am I missing something I don't anything for blind scan.
I thinking the 4000 Plus did not have it and they added it with the Coolsat 4000 Pro.
I might be wrong though.

Try the auto scan.

auto scan is just the transponder list

are you sure there is no blind scan? I founds the old pic of my 4000 plus and it shows that

yes I am sure it has no blind scan I see in the picture where it is but it is not there.
I loaded the factory bin then I found a bin from a different site and no blind scan.

I checked the manual on this site and I see the box I have don't have the extra VCR output So this box was made before the blind scan.
No luck for me

that is odd I know I have done blind scans with mine. Thanks Ice for telling me what the Auto was guess I never messed with it.
