my friend is giving me his 1m dish that i need ,but he is run expressvu on it,can i run fta channels with the same lnb (very old looking lnb) or do i need to change lnb.

As far as I'm aware you'll need to change the LNB.
Nice size dish though

You could weld it I suppose.
It'd probably be a lot easier to unscrew the old one and put an FSS LNB in its place though.

The Expressvu LNB would not work.........unless its a real old setup

but for sake of argument, lets say its a newer one. You would need a different LNB. You should be able to take the old one off and replace it (instead of welding it)

now all you need is the receiver to get RTPi
