down load and upload speeds

HI,I am new to this forum i think this is where my post should go,if not move it to where it should be and let me know so i can find it,thanks
HI,I am new to this forum and am trying to get info. for future satellite dish install.
Heres my problem i am trying to figure out how to determine what download and upload speeds really mean in relationship to file size here are my results for d/l @ up/l, 36.7mbps upl 10.3mbps on comcast cable any thoughts about these results would be appreciated,thanks

We would be more than happy to assist you today. We do provide internet service within areas of availability. Download speed is how quick you able to retrieve data from it's server. Upload speed is how quick the data is going between your computer and others. These are measured by megabits per second. If you are looking to achieve more MBPS to get faster internet, DISH internet is not viable as we provided internet services up to 20 MBPS.
