Adjusting the bracket didn't give me much give or take.
Moved East, scanning again.

CCTV 4/nes/F/E/9 docu again. Can't seem to find that center.

I bought four Spitfire Elite universal KU LNB;s. The receiver is set to First 9750, Second 10750.

I seem to have it now, have to go fine tune.

Oh man, I always have to suffer weirdness!
Pretty much everything seems to be there, but, no al jazeera or russia today which have always been there. Too weird.

if the LNB is a Universal it needs to be set to 9750/10600

If its a standard then its set for 10750

The original setup that was working was set to 10750 for universal. Somehow, I messed up my notes over time then because I've always set Universal to 10750. I've changed it to 10600 and am scanning again, getting lots of stuff in.

you can set the LNB honestly for anything you want for a LNB LO. The only thing is the frequencies will be off.
If you set it for 10750 everything will be off by 150mhz (and the upper frequencies may not work)

I've rescanned but for some reason, those channels I mentioned earlier aren't coming in now.
Still seeing CNC world, Press TV, Business TV, etc, just not seeing AJ or RT.
I was getting those on 12302 H 2000.

The transponder in question is a bugger to get

best to manually enter the transponder info then adjust the LNB to optimize that transponder (12152 H 20000)

So the weird thing is, I'm getting tons of other channels. Are you saying I need to skew the LNB a little? There isn't much room to move it in/out or anything other than rotating it.

all I can say is play with it. I know on my 30" if I peak it on say 11842 (the christian channels) 12152 wont come in at all. But if I tune to 12152 then another transponder goes bye bye

Haha, well, it's cool that you've been around to give me some tips. I think I'll go try one last thing but then give up for now :).
Thanks for the input.

I have a 1.2M dish set up right now (peaked) on 97W. I would like to get 89W, 91W, 101W, and 103W with it, and perhaps 93W and 95W. Can anyone recommend a good multifeed LNB holder? Does this sound feasable with the 1.2M dish? Right now I am getting quality from about 71-74 on a Manhattan on 97W. I was going to motorize it, but I did not like how unstable it seemed on the motor, not to mention the factor of the wind.

I have never attempted any multi-LNBF setups but I know you may have trouble with trying to get sats that are 2 degrees apart with a dish that small. The physical size of the LNBFs may not allow you to place them where they need to be.

Correct, 6 degrees with standard size LNBs is easy, and then there are the GeoSat Bullet LNBs that can be used at 4 degrees (haven't used them myself). Have done 4 degrees (and 5 degrees) with the standard size LNBs before, but it is a pain and you have to give up some signal to make it work (on my 80cm dishes, larger dishes would give you a bit more space to make it work).

As far as brackets, Satellite AV has some that look good, but I haven't used them, so someone else will have to tell you whether they work well or not.

Would it be better to try for 91 than 89? I think with those brackets from SatelliteAV I could do 91/89, 97, and 101. I wonder if I could squeeze in 105 and 83?

If you use the Bullet LNBs, you might be able to get 91(or 89, I did have it on a dish with 97 at centre), 97, 101, and 105 (though 83 would be too far out 14 degrees off-centre, 6-8 degree is optimal). My experience, as I said above, is with 80cm dishes (and not with the Bullet LNBs) so I've tried to stay away from 4 degrees for the most part. Best thing to do is give it a try and see what you can get (you definitely would get say 91,97,103). I try to keep mine at the 6 degree range, it all depends on the strength of the satellite, some are great (72, for example) at distances greater than 6 degrees, others 6 degrees is really the limit (and sometimes too far).
