He says this is a new beginning for DISH and with wireless this will be a New Beginning for DISH... only bigger.
Brian invites Amir Ahmed on stage. They chat for a bit and them Amir announces Niraj Desai, VP of Product Management for DISH.
They talk about the Hopper 1 being slow.. what can DISH do to improve the performance. They introduce the Hopper Snap which plugs in the upper USB port of the Hopper 1 or 2 and it gives the performance increase like a Hopper 3.
They give a demo and the guide speeds are amazingly fast.
Hopper Snap will be available May 16th.
They talk about the time the software update process for new Hoppers, in September retailers can download the latest software to a USB drive and plug it into new Hoppers for faster installs.
Later this year updates will be available from Android devices, just plug your phone into the Hopper to download the latest software.
In August you will be able to setup using a single WIFI access code, big time saver for installers.
Now on to DISH Anywhere... DISH is adding more live channels to DISH Anywhere, meaning anyone can watch anywhere.
Amir says they are getting questions about when will DISH Anywhere be available on Apple TV and Roku... and I didn't hear an answer. (I found that confusing)
They show off the new OTA meter coming this year.
Next on to AIRTV. They show off the 3 new AIRTV products.
The show the AirTV dongle which will be available in July.
AirTV 2 will be coming for $100 in September.
AirTV Plus DVR will be available in November, with 4 tuners and a 1TB hard drive.
They introduce DISH Fiber which is 1 GB internet matches with Video. For use in commercial environments.
Now on to Hospitality, they talk about their Evolve Box which is used in Hotels.
Now on to the Hopper, which they call the best set top box in the world.
They talk about Voice Control. And announce Google Assistant on the Hopper, which will launch later this year. Of course this will be added at no extra cost.
Gene LeNois from Google joins them on stage with one more thing... They talk about Google Nest Products... and Amir says we need to give something away to everyone here for free... They announce a Google Home Hub for each dealership.
And with the Gene and Naraj leave the stage.
Now onto Marketing... Out on the stage comes Jay Roth the head of Marketing.
Jay says he has some big announcement to make.
DISH is going on the Offense in 2019.
He shows a new ad campaign for why people should switch to DISH.

They launch a El Nuevo Dish Latino promotion and show a video.
Somos para ti - "we are for you" is their new campaign name. A commercial is shown.
Amir returns back to the stage again. In this section Amir will get into very specific dealer stuff.. so won't go into to many details here.
Amir tells people they are helping make their customers lives better.
He talks about Smarthome Technology and tells retailers this is the perfect market for DISH Retailers.
Alfredo Rodriguez the head of DISH Latino joins Amir. They joke on stage about Amir lack of Spanish skills. Alfredo makes fun of Amir in Spanish. Those who understand Spanish are laughing.
They thanks retailers for the patience during the Univision takedown. They go over the DISH Latino that was announced before.
They announce their new DISH Latino brand ambassador Eugenio Derbez who comes on the stage and talks about DISH Latino.
