Sorry if it seems I was putting your projector down, I was not, I was just stating a upconverting to 1080i DVD Player would not do you much good, a really good 480P is perfect for your projector, that's all.
If I was in the market(need) for one right now, it is a darn good buy at Costco for $999.00 with that screen it comes with.
