Whole Home DVR - "refreshing playlist" message

I recently had a new system setup (HR-34 and H-25s). I've had a few issues a long the way but hopefully we are all set. I had an issue with my whole home DVR not playing properly on one of the H25s. It turns out it was a bad receiver. That receiver has been replaced and everything seems to be working as it should.

I do notice when watching a recorded show every so often a message will appear for a split second in the bottom right hand corner that says "refreshing playlist" and then goes away. It's not a huge deal, but it does get a little annoying.

I asked the installer/repair tech about this and he didn't really know why and blamed the HR-34 for the issue. Any idea what's causing this?
 
As a follow up, this issue seems to have gotten better over time. I notice this only comes up if the HR34 is recording something at the time. The message doesn't seem to come up as often.
