We winter in Arizona and summer in Illinois... Have houses in both places... We were getting Chicago local programming til a couple of weeks ago while still in Arizona... We were shut off of Chicago programming and can't seem to get turned back on? Why is that? Would like to get Chicago programming back as we have someone staying at our house in Illinois while we are gone and they like the Chicago programming as well as we do! Please respond!!!

Sounds like you were receiving Chicago in Arizona? It is illegal for Dish to sell you Chicago locals in Arizona. Are you getting any locals right now?

It's also against your agreement with dish to have receivers at multiple locations active on the same account. If that is indeed the case, you'll want to fix that before you get a call from the audit department.

I was going to say the same thing. I had a customer a few weeks ago with the same situation, in AZ from IL. I made sure to inform them to have all their receivers in one location

Chicago locals were on CONUS until a few weeks ago when they went to spot beam only. You'll definitely not see Chicago in Arizona any longer.

As Bobby mentioned, Chicago locals are no longer CONUS, which is why you no longer receive the channels in AZ (you're outside the Chicago footprint).

The correct way to have service like you do, is to set up a Snowbird account with us. The main requirements for a snowbird account are that you take ALL receivers with you to either home, and you call to update your physical address every time you move (when you change your address to your AZ home, you will start to receive AZ locals).

Having service in two homes, at the same time, violates terms in the Residential Customer Agreement.
