It wouldn't surprise me if Saban ends up in Indianapolis after this season. Why? Because Irsay will back up a Brinks truck and give him total control. He will also have what is needed most to be a successful NFL coach, a Franchise quarterback. He might have lasted longer in Miami if he would've signed Brees instead of Culpeper.
I doubt he leaves, but to the last point, there is very little doubt. Unfortunately, or fortunately for Bama, Brees did not pass the dolphins internal physical, so they went a different direction.

I think giving coaches complete control other than partial ownership are not smart to give. I think it will be tough for him to go from a BIG fish on a small pond to the reverse.

A dead foul. Td still would had counted.
The other missed blocks in the back another story.
I agree that the missed blocks and lateral from his knees were more critical, but IP would have been a live ball foul in this situation:

Rule 3-5-3

"If officials do not detect the excessive number of players until during the down or after the down is over, the infraction is treated as a live-ball foul."

The last one down around the 15 yard line was a hit on the side, not the back, so that was legit.

The knee being down, I didn't see the review, but if it was anything like in the pros they have cameras from all angles, to me without the review it looked as if the knee may not have been down, going down yes, but not down .

Well first playoff poll and it's

Clemson
Lsu
Ohio state
Bama.

I can say that you are the only one (besides the officials) that saw his knee was not down.

Another year another bullsh!t poll. So glad I gave up on major college football this year. Much happier and interesting watching the local high school kids and the small college games.

I wouldn't worry about it, as long as your in the Top 25, in reality, probably 15. theres a ton of games to be played yet.
Ohio State was 16th last year at this point.

Be more of a drop than that. right now they're both up there because they haven't played each other yet, and either one could still get the West title. If LSU is eliminated from that, then the committee will drop them further. And Alabama spot isn't too secure, especially when Ole Miss gets it's 3rd loss from LSU, or even a possible 4th from Arkansas or Miss St.

Like with last year and the Buckeyes, if the likely Big 12 Champ (my money is on the Cowboys) continues to be undefeated, they will jump into the final 4. Especially after Alabama/LSU and Ohio St./Michigan St. loses.

I would say the Alabama spot is very secure, assuming they win out. Even more so with another ole miss loss as it would put Bama in the sec champ game.

And I would say there is no way a one loss Alabama as SEC champs is left out.
