New FTA install Pics

I thought I would share a few pics from an install I started on a for a friend. The only problem I had was the Sadoun package only came with a U bolt mount on the dish and not the pole mount. I've ordered the pole mount as I don't like the U bolt mount, just too many factors in the mix to lose signal. The DISH 500 will be parked on top of the pole once all is said and done with the FTA.

After fighting the stupid U bolt mount which I hate BTW.. I ended up parking the dish on G10R and calling it day until the correct pole mount bracket comes in.....$10 for the bracket and $10 shipping all because I assumed the package would come with a pole mount

o ya...now I see what you mean. that's odd. looks like it's shooting a beam. must be a new electric anti-theft system. steal the dish and you get shocked.

This thing (see the pic)

The red thing is a thread cap to keep threads from getting damaged.

The other thing is a reflection off of the flash from the reflective tape on the trailer in the background. Look at one of the daylight pictures.

Thanks. No rain... just water from watering the grass.

The SDU box worked out really well for the coax connections for the dish.

Ahh ok...

If it was some kind of light I would say I want one. Be kind of cool to see the dish glowing in the dark.

It's 2 inch a believe... I didn't pick it up so I don't know. I told him to get the thickest pipe he could find since we were putting the 36inch and the Dish500 on top. We filled it full of concrete too. That sucker doesn't even move a bit.

Pictures 1 thru 4 came out real dark. I was trying to show all the TV's. NBC color bars from AMC 1 Ku, Color bars up top are from AMC 2 Ku, Golf is from IA 6 C-band and USA from DirecTV.

Picture # 6 shows the c-band dish with the SBS 6 and AMC 2 dishes behind it.
Picture # 7 shows the IA 8 dish to the left in the back. 3 top to bottom are G4, IA 6 and G11 is on the bottom. Dishes to the right are AMC 1 and the DirecTV dish.
Picture # 8 shows a corner of the AMC 1 dish, Dish Network dish and the G10 dish.
Picture # 9 shows the tree openings I have to play with until they grow again. I'm standing behind the IA 6 ku dish. You see that and the c-band dish at IA 6. Both of them on the bird.
Picture # 10 shows the pot and rollers. This is for the AMC 2 dish you see in picture 6. I move this to AMC 5 or AMC 3.

I took more outside, but it was a $5.00 Sueprman camera I got at Albertson's. Pictures done at Walmart today. I've never owned a camera before. Just a videocamera.

Picture # 4 is the website next to the Sirius satellite radio. Window looks out to the dishes.
