Here is the KTI plant as of today. The faded sign still reads Delivering the Future. I wish that were true.

:( Just about all the good stuff is gone. Hello Chinese-made garbage. I hate to say this, but the U.S.'s time has passed. This isn't just a recession. It's the future. Sad, very sad.

This is what happens when big business gets their way. Outsourcing and companies like Dish Network have done us in. I'm glad it's not cheaper for my employer to fly someone in from China. But, they could probably hire 3 Chinese to replace me using H1 visas.

what is the address of this place?

KTI ? State Hwy. 14, Richland Center, Wisconsin. Can't miss it. Their old factory has a tenant, but the building appears underutilized these days. I remember when KTI had a display of every size dish they made set up in a row along the highway. John Kaul, the owner, still has 2 dishes up at his beautiful rural home, but they don't appear in service. He's moved on to other business pursuits.

We should all stop buying products made in china, i know many products in this forum you people use comes from Chine, cheap and nasty quality, if you all wants to stop this stop buying Chinese products and let them die in isolation.

The only solution is to get all americans to agree to work for a much lower wage which wouldnt work because of the high standard of living here.I wish there was a real solution to the problem but sad to say the USA may be a 2nd rated power in the not to distant future.

Nafta & GATT at its best. next its the incandescent light bulb ban.

Our North American Free Trade Agreement was with Mexico and Canada. Nothing to do with China. China hurting those countries too.
Incandescent light bulb ban is our own government telling us what kind of light bulbs to buy. Tell Mr. Obama I want to choose myself between incandescent, compact fluorescent, and led.

I've already started stocking up on incandescent bulbs. I hate those squiggly flourescent ones... my mother's place is full of 'em, and the light they put out reminds me of the hospital!
