Have hit the links 3 times this week. Gonna hit it a few more times in the coming weeks in Phoenix...a "business trip"...lol!

That's pretty good...some weeks I barely get that much time for three showers much less three rounds of golf. :D

Anyway, has anyone here had the honor of play Augusta National?

LMAO! very few will. Hell, even Tiger is not good enough to even be a member. This country club is the ULTIMATE old boys network.

I got to play several championship courses (U.S Open and PGA type) as a youth golfer but Augusta was too far to travel, and I certainly wasn't a bubba. My uncle Dave has played at Augusta a number of times, but he was very well connected with the PGA...i.e., ran the scoreboards for most Majors from 1980-2002. Hopefully I'll start playing the game again...one of these years. :)

After pulling-up lame with an achilles problem two weeks ago, Tiger Woods has announced that he will be playing in this years Masters. Of course, I don't consider him to be a Top 10 contender given his latest medical woes, much less his game still wasn't back to where it should be to complete for the championship. We shall see.

It would be nice if he was competitive in this one. Phil too.

It would certainily be nice, and this possible matchup was looking up just a few weeks ago. However, with Tiger pulling-up lame once again, and a 40+ year old Phil popping arthritis meds like they were shot-out of a Pez candy dispenser, the odds of this matchup happening are looking slim.

But that's why they play the game! :)
