tdillon's VOOM STB software version (still 568)
I got VA VA VOOMED on 6/15/2004 with STB software version 00.05.68
I am in area code 909, if that matters.
I have put the box in standby every night since then, hoping for this magical software that will fix everything wrong with my STB. (You know, the ability to scan for OTA channels, hopefully something that will make the box more stable so that it doesn't require a reboot to get it out of its last lockup when changing channels too quickly, and perhaps something that fixes the screen refresh rate so that I don't get that deja vu feeling every 15 - 16 seconds.)
Today I checked again and I am still running 00.05.68
I have been experiencing a bunch of PG problems requiring a reboot of the STB five times in the last 3 days, each time I got my hopes up that maybe this was the new firmware push.
I will let you know when and if I get a new firmware update.
